The Venice Amusement Pier had a collection of rides and attractions by 1940. John Harrah’s original Bingo parlor in the Plaza Building is at the entrance of the Pier.
First developed by the Kinney family in the 20’s, the Venice Amusement Pier was a major attraction in Venice, then a seaside resort town to which residents of Santa Monica and Los Angeles flocked on weekends.
